Go read this, and you'll see something funny. This Mr. Kamarul Khairi Kasin was fined for driving his car, a Perodua Kancil, over the speed limit in the north-south expressway, which was 110KM per hour in 25 January 2006, but the thing is that the police reported his speed at that time as 956KM per hour. That is indeed nine hundred and fifty six freaking kilometers per hour. Walao. Sometimes I think that the police is really really stupid for even issuing a saman for some case like that.
Fuel price hike protest news @ Catcha.com.my
Next is this. Just because of the fuel price hike, they did a protest for it. I don't have an idea why did they wanted to do so. It's really normal for a price hike, and like Badawi said, it's still the lowest in the region, except for Brunei (of course lah, Brunei has too much oil, and my English teacher once said that the people in Brunei even turned on their cooking gas overnight in their backyard, just to scare away wild animals..), and the government can never continue subsidizing petrol. Come to think of it, I say that PAS and Suaram did not do the right thing for the peoples. And I think that PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa should just keep his mouth shut, as I think he would be doing the same thing if he were the Deputy Prime Minister. Blah. In other country such as the Philippines and Thailand, they protest for a better leader, but in Malaysia here, they even protest for such a small thing. Like usual, the government needs money for development (such as education or sports or even human developments), and not every sen should go for fuel subsidy. See how bad the protest is going: http://community.livejournal.com/malaysi ans/442109.html
