Yeh Yeh, Here I am Writing on LJ

The reason I had suddenly thought of writing on my LJ is because I wanted to rant about the fact that there weren't a single soul at all at the Elin Forest Party Quest, despite the fact that MapleStory had released it only recently. All I wanted was the earring that gives +1 to +2 to all stats!! The earring can only be obtained through the PQ.

Nevermind that. Now that I'm here I might as well talk about my recent life. It's been two weeks of school holiday now and I've spent most of the two weeks time at home. When I'm at home, it's either playing MapleStory or playing Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice on the DS Lite. If someone were to ask me what have I achieved during this school holiday I'll probably proudly tell him or her that I've finished the Ace Attorney series. :D

Besides that, last Tuesday, I followed my fellow prefects on a Training Course at a remote village, Kampung Natai, which is an around 40 minutes drive from Telipok town. There was a river that we could swim in just next to our campsite, and a waterfall which is reachable by tracking from our campsite for around 15 minutes. It was a 3 days-2 nights course and there weren't any electricity nor any water supply. We had to start our own fire using dead tree branches and bath in the river. We set up our own tents where we were going to be sleeping in at night. The main course was the second day's jungle tracking where we had to track a 7KM jungle course and prepare lunch in the middle of the course. It was a good experience, nevertheless.

NHK is good stuff

Does most anime series name their whole series after the name of the last episode?

The anime series, "Welcome to the NHK" was, how should I put it... fabulous! The story was neat, the background music used in most situations were very suitable, and the second ED theme was pretty nice too.

Well actually, I have been wanting to watch this anime series for a long time. The truth is I've already read the manga online and listened to the ending song a long time ago but never got the chance to download the anime series as I used to have a bad HDD space problem. After dad bought a 300GB harddrive the problem was solved indefinitely.

A long time ago, I found out about the existence of this anime when I was looking up information on (Tsubasa Chronicle) Sakura's voice actress, Yui Makino. It seems that Yui was also the voice actress of Nakahara Misaki, the main female character of "Welcome to the NHK" anime series. I then started searching for details of the series and found myself rather interested in it.

Basically the anime series tells the story of the life of a male hikkikomori, Sato, and his fateful encounter of a young lady, Misaki. Misaki, seemingly for no reason at all, started to help Sato in various ways, including giving lectures for him to gain courage to return to society. The story goes on with Sato meeting various people from his high school days and getting involved with their matters, including involving in online gaming, creating a H-game, being cheated into a multi-level marketing, joining an offline suicide party, etc.

The reason I am hooked onto this series is because the story is so close to reality and the characters are so pitiable. There are many conversations between the characters that I find quotable and usable in real life, e.g. Quote by Misaki: "Sexual harassment warrants a one million yen fine!". Besides that, I can feel the closeness of the story to myself, unlike some other anime series where the story seemed so far away. I mean like I can feel that even I may end up a hikki myself if I were to lock myself in my room playing computer the whole day.

o_o

Makes me want to laugh at myself for making this post. The real truth is that I was already spoiled as I have already read the manga and I knew what was going to happen in most of the situations. I have to comment the anime creators for following the mangas so closely that they didn't even missed small details. How should I say, they'd even elaborated it! Like say, the construction of the net at the cape to prevent people from dying if they were to jump of the cape, they'd even add a new character: the taxi driver.

NHK is definitely one nice series. I'm out.

Tomorrow's gonna be a hectic day. The Bazaar General Meeting is finally gonna be held tomorrow after several postpones. I'm going to present the forum tomorrow too, the PB's.

I've watched up to episode 14 of Clannad (after story). Clannad has taken the whole "family" thingie a step furthur - Nagisa's pregnant. A whole new family's about to start. I should be happy about it, but instead, I feel a bit... awkward. Maybe I'm still not prepared for this. =\

It's Palm Sunday today.

I didn't go to church - I didn't want to go. This morning I helped mom chop down some palm trees in front of our house so that she can bring some palm leaves to church as it was Palm Sunday. I was quite tired at that time as I have not slept the whole night playing a new game on my DS but being a filial son, I had helped. :D

The new NDS game which got me hooked was "Lux Pain". The game was quite nice and it was addictive. There's voice for some of the dialogues and that gave the characters some extra personality. In spite of that I noticed a few spelling mistakes and translation error in the game as I played it.

Dad just reached home - and just went out a few minutes ago for dinner, with mom. Neither of us siblings decided to go as dad was quite impatient and couldn't wait for us to get ready - I was in my pyjamas and I wanted to take a bath and change into another clothes. He just couldn't wait. =\

Never felt better using a computer

The computer's back and it's... smooth! It cost dad around RM800+ to buy a whole new motherboard, a new processor (Intel Pentium dual core), a 1GB RAM, a 320GB harddrive and a new internet modem but I guess it's worth it. I told dad it would have been better if he were to buy a whole new computer (which would have costed RM2,000+) but I guess the upgrade's better than nothing. Now that I have more space on the computer I'll be going on a downloading spree - I'll start with Clannad After Story. XD

I attended the "Bengkel" (workshop) for the Driving Licence yesterday. I went alone without Peng Jing Wen as I was told by him that he had already attended the workshop. You know, somewhat I pity the instructors that have to pick me up from my house from Penampang and then drive all the way down to Menggatal where the driving school is located - a whole 20km or so.

I have a Chemistry test tomorrow and I think I'll be dead.... the end of the story.

P.S: Altogether 15 candidates contested in the Bukit Selambau by-election in Kedah - I wonder the outcome. NTV7's poll shows that 60% of its viewers wants the Election Commision to restrict the number of candidates contesting for a seat. In my opinion let them contest, it is up to them - it'll no longer be win or lose, it'll be more of whether you'll be able to retain your deposit.

School Holidays are On!

It is the school holidays. I have had my first mid-term exams last week too (We've already been taught 13 chapters of STPM Chemistry and yet other people our age have not even started class!). Oh and, SPM's results' out and I got good result, not that good but I'm still happy with it and I'll talk about that.

Okay, so the school holidays, a week of school holidays. Despite the "holiday" tag, it is actually more hectic than ordinary schooling days. A lot of activities had to take place during the school holiday. I had stayed for a night at school on Sunday because the prefects had a camp which was especially for S3 and S2 prefects and I had only got back home yesterday at around 4pm because I had another meeting I had to attend at school till 3pm yesterday.

We S3 were the organizers of the "PD" camp. The main aim for this camp is to "strengthen the bond" between S2 and S3 prefects and to allow S2 to prepare themselves to take over from S3 prefects when we were to retire as the Prefect Council. The camp was successful with a bit of hiccups. The S2 were a bit, how should I say, "hard to please", but we'd still manage to carry out the activities that Shaun and Zen prepared.

I was a bit sad and disappointed with the reactions that they'd shown us when we're playing the face painting part as somewhat they weren't enjoying themselves. Then even worse, someone dislocated her knee when we were playing "Captain Ball". I would be happy if they were to ban the game for this reason, though. However, as the person in charged of first-aid, I felt quite useless when I weren't able to give any sort of first aids as I have no knowledge on how to help with muscle cramps or, even worse, bone dislocations.

Nevertheless we did what we have to do in order to continue this "PD" tradition within the Prefect Board.

There's going to be a 3S+1J gather over at Jonas' house later on and I'll be attending it - I have to support them as my brother, Timothy, is one of the working committee and he's in-changed of souvenirs. Anyway if I were to attend this gather then this would be my third year, a perfect streak. Timothy had prepared pins as souvenirs for those who attend the gathering. I was a bit "blah" at the final design of the pin... nah nevermind.

I got 2A1, 5A2, 1B3, 2B4 and 2C5 for my SPM (not including 1119). Haha.

I was not having any high expectations on myself as I had only aimed for an A in English - I did not dare to aim any higher. Well, I did get an A1 for English and also another A1 for English 1119. It is a bit funny (but I was already expecting it) as I did not obtain an A for any of my science subjects - I got B3 for Biology, B4 for Physics and C5 for Chemistry. It could have been worse and I was glad. It was a C5 for my Chinese Language and I wasn't surprised at all. I got an A2 for the additional subject that I took, Geography. I have to thank Ms. Helen Ting for the two following subjects: I got an A1 in Maths and an A2 in Add. Maths. It was really nice to see that I am able to score in the two subjects.

A few days ago I have played "Trace Memory" on my Nintendo DS. I was having a high expectation on the game as the company which created the game was also the creator of "Hotel Dusk: Room 215". "Hotel Dusk" has become one of my favourite games on the DS. However, it is sad that Trace Memory wasn't up to par. I didn't like at all the Dual Trace System that Ashley, the main character in the game, had used. It was like a tool that the game didn't need at all. The game claims that the DTS cannot be used by other people because they have my fingerprint. Well they're wrong, I did not use my finger when they had asked me to - I used the stylus. I'd say that it would be better off if the DTS didn't exist at all.

The only thing I like about the game is they'd use a girl as the main character in a game. Although her appearance is very boyish with short hair, T-shirt and jeans, she's still a girl in the inside and you can see that she is a girlish person while trying to be strong in the outside. Very few games would allow a girl to fully control the flow of a game and this is the very first I had stumbled upon. Other games like Pokémon, starting from Crystal, would let you choose to play as a boy or as a girl - they will not remove the "boy" option completely in fear they'd lose the male players.

I'll be off to the gather. After that I'll be making more plans, like say go for the computer law test for driving.

So what I've been doing lately...

Yup, I'm now a Senior 3 student in my school. I went back to school at the start of the year and saw quite a few changes. One thing is that many from my class last year decided to leave to go for further studies, leaving the few 20 of us left studying S3. I met many new faces as those from S2Xiao last year joined us, or should I say, the remaining students of the two classes, Zhong and Xiao, were merged into this year's S3Zhong. S3Zhong's the captain house of Purple House and we, the students of the class, are supposed to lead the house even though not all of us knew each other.

Our new form teacher, well, is an author (she write books) and a Chinese Language teacher. She can even deliver speeches and talks very smoothly and interestingly without preparing a script beforehand. She's quite "in" I would say as she would update herself on the latest trends, including listening to the latest musics and reading entertainment news. She would go on teaching without stopping, every now and then using some idioms, foul words (like diao or tamade), and even some sentence in Hakka or Taiwanese language as insults. She'd even say something our newly appointed Principal.

As for purple house, I consider myself an outsider. I feel as if I don't have any use or purpose being a member in the house captain class. There were too many "scholars" and those who were less useful will not even get noticed. I had never attended any house meetings nor any trainings as of now. This is because I won't even be able to play a role there, there's nothing for me to do. Like people say, "there are many monks but there is little porridge". Well, I don't care. I told them I'd join the marching team, but if they'd decide to kick me off the team for being inactive (I skipped all the trainings), it's up to them. I don't care.

A few over at S3Xiao who were former S2Zhong/S2Xiao students wanted to come back to S3Zhong to help out purple house. They were put to S3Xiao together with last year's S2Ren because Mr. Lai deemed that they were weak in A. Maths. If you ask my opinion, I don't want them back here. Let's say I'm not very happy about it. Now that there's still people who has nothing to do in Purple House, and now you're saying you're gonna bring these people back, what about us with nothing to do?

What was I to say again?

Captain ball, yes. Last Friday, the Prefects had a game of Captain Ball. I decided to stay under the shade holding the first aid kit and skip the game as I had never had any liking towards the game. And I wasn't alone. I mean that I wasn't the only one who HATED the game. The reason I hated captain ball is because it promotes elitism. The key to win is passing the ball, but hell, people who are good in the game would pass the ball to some other player they deem "useful", ignoring the other players who are "useless". They only wanted to win the game. If that's the case the game does NOT promote sportsmanship at all.

At the end of the game, the good players and the unskilled players will be identified. If a group were to lose, the good players would be very unhappy towards the unskilled players.

The few people who came to me agreed with what I said, and they'd even use the word "discrimination". It's like a game of basketball where in a group 4 were pros and 1 was a noob. At the end of the day it would seem as if only the 4 were playing as they couldn't afford to risk losing the ball if they were to pass it to the noob, you see. Now, think of it if you were the noob. Would you feel left out? Would you feel useless? Would you feel it would be better if you had not played the game? But hell, the Prefect Board forces you to play the game, so what can you do?

My suggestion is pros should play as often as they want. Those who don't want to play LEAVE THEM ALONE, don't force them as if you only wanted to win over them. I know some people wanted to play Captain Ball to show off that they are good in sports by making others the victim. The outcome is obvious if pro were to play with noob.

Neopets game trophies... finally mine :D

You know what, I've just earned my second Neopets game trophy this month And I do mean that I obtained two different trophy by being placed at the top spot in two different games in just the month of December!! XDD The two games are Usuki Frenzy and Dungeon Dash, both silver (for the time being. Who knows I might get pwned later in the month?)

Right now the Neopets staff is checking on my Usuki Frenzy score. I can't wait to be listed on the top-score!

I'm now hoping that I can win the trophies of multi-player games (Armada, Geos and Kacheekers), gold silver or bronze don't matter. :D

We're currently having our SPM mock (percubaan) and I just had Chemistry yesterday (Saturday). If you ask me I'm a bit aggravated by the fact that Chemistry, no wait, Physics and Biology also, have altogether 3 papers, not including the PEKA that we have done. We never had 3 papers in our ordinary school exams. Well, I'm just glad that they did told us to do past year papers and through that we were able to know the true format of SPM science.

I did badly in the Chemistry exam, particularly paper 2. Besides that I had forgotten to bring my calculator to school so I had to do the working directly, wasting a lot of time. Fortunately there was enough time for all three papers.

Besides that, I also had Chinese, English, English for Science and Technology (yeah right), Maths, Add. Maths, Pendidikan Moral and Sejarah a few days ago since Monday. It was quite okay and I'm quite confident that I can at least pass all these subjects, except for Chinese. There's no way I'm able to score in the idioms and literature part as I had no idea what it was talking about. >_<;

This happened last Wednesday if I'm not mistaken, yup, and the last paper I had was... I can't remember. Nevermind. The exam was until 2:30p.m. and I had to reach Teacher Helen's tuition center before 3:30p.m. to start my Maths tuition. If I were to wait for my school bus to arrive (at around 3:40p.m.), I would never reach the tuition centre in time. Consequently I had decided to take a bus myself over at the bus stop outside Kian Kok School. What happened was I met with someone whom I didn't expect.

The person was none other than a person who most people know as Uncle Mok. There was an article on this person on the "中学生" [Majalah Pelajar] student magazine. He became famous for helping our school set up a Herbal Garden. Personally I think the herbal garden is just something useless, I mean not every student of the school benefit from having a herbal garden - even those from the Herbal Research Club (oh yes such club exists in our school) do not actually study them anyway - they'll just look for infomation on herbs from books or the internet.

Uncle Mok was wearing his usual t-shirt with a cap (perhaps he was bald?) when he arrived at the bus stop. He started talking to me by asking random questions (you from Kian Kok? Mr. Hiew is now your principal?) and I replied him. Then we took the same bus to KK. He even paid the bus fee for me (I could have paid it myself but I'd appreciated it anyway). Then over at the bus stop at Shangri-la hotel we parted. He was going to Centre Point while I had to take another bus to tuition.

Yup, he's one really nice guy. I have the article about him and here's a part of it: http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u202/yamaki_blog2/IMG_0844.jpg

Haha.

Coming up next for my SPM mock is Biology on Monday and Physics on Tuesday. After that it's hibernation period before going for the real SPM exam.

P.S: I'm addicted to the song "Still Alive", the ending song of the game Portal. Liaw Jun Bing of Xiao class borrowed me the installation of the game this morning and I'll install the game to play soon. :P

P.S.S: Good luck to everyone in my f-list who're having their exams as well. It's the exam period after all. :D

Olympics and School Holidays

Malaysia managed to win its first medal since 1996 in Atlanta, and it's a silver, too. Congratulations to Lee Chong Wei on winning a silver medal in Badminton. He was the first badminton player to obtain silver in the Olympics for the men's single as the previous record was Bronze won by Jalani Sidek in Atlanta, in 1996. There he goes. Now, he has been crowned as a hero. He gets his RM300,000 and RM3,000 a month pension as promised by the Malaysian government. Besides that, he also gets a "Datuk" title from the Penang Government. Talking about the Penang Government, you should have seen how YB Ong Kok Fooi, the Minister of Sports of Penang were so proud of her "Berapit Boy" Lee Chong Wei as YB Ong is the ADUN for Berapit herself. LOL.

However so, I have to agree with Azmi Anshar that Lee Chong Wei has become the Permatang Pauh By-election fodder. Lee Chong Wei has received his promised RM300,000 in his hometown in Penang in the presence of the BN candidate for the by-election! My goodness!

Well seriously, personally I think that the government has gone too far by giving Lee Chong Wei so much money. RM300,000 is enough and that should be it, no more pension money! Hey, you know what is pension money? It's money for the rest of your life! RM3000 for the rest of Lee Chong Wei's life, walao, he can retire liao. To me, this reward this is not going to encourage the athletes to continue to strive to become better. You see lah next time, if Lee Chong Wei can obtain a gold, then I have nothing else to say, but I doubt it. He'll get lazy and perhaps grow fatter. He's pretty lucky this time compared to the doubles Koo Kien Kiat and Tan Boon Heong who met with Indonesia's pair Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan (who eventually brought back gold) early in the game. Ahh who cares?

And look at Singapore too, they won their first medal since the Rome Olympic games in 1960. It's a silver too, through Table Tennis. Hah. They lost like a novice 0-3 too just like Lee Chong Wei to China in the finals. Bwahaha.

I had an argument with my brother earlier just now with him finally considering leaving the prefects. I told him directly that he has no wishes to improve himself at all by skipping various activities in the Prefect Board, and how he expects to become a Bazaar Leader one day if he continues to be like that. I don't know what he's thinking but it seems that he has been brainwashed by his Junior 3 prefects that not coming down to OG and squad practice as well as other activities are perfectly alright. For hell's sake I told him if you don't want to come down, the fine, they'll dock your CCA marks, why should I care?! Now he's planning to skip the 2S and J3 gather just because I'm going. Hey, am I a big shame to you? Is it that you are unhappy that your older brother's going to overshadow you if he's there? I told him if he's not going that's FINE, for all that I care. You don't have to go at all. If he's not planing to join any of the activities then he might as well book a one way ticket OUT of the prefect board and join his bunch of junkies at the CRC. One day you'll know that the people at CRC don't care about you at all!

Oh and, I have also watched the debate between the current Chief Minister of Penang (Lim Guan Eng) and the ex-Chief Minister of Penang (Koh Su Koon) on the Land Scams and Scandals just now on TV. Leslie Lau thinks that Guan Eng has won but I don't think so. However so, I have to agree with Guan Eng that the debate was unnecessary and a gentleman's meeting would have been much better and time saving, looking at fact that the debate has solved none of the problems as Su Koon has been avoiding questions - he didn't even answered a few land scams as raised by Guan Eng! Guan Eng raised 5 examples and Su Koon only answered to one of it! As for the empty Chief Minister's office... I don't know what to say.

IS Open Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow would be Institut Sinaran's Open Day. I'll be attending its opening ceremony as requested by Ms. Angela. Well, we have to wear our school uniform to attend the function. I don't understand why they wanted us to attend the function in our school uniforms. However so, each of us will be given RM 7 for breakfast at the food stalls set up there after the function. Alang-alang 7 ringgit only, but it is better than nothing at all.

Oh and by the way, I chatted briefly with Optic over MSN just now. He's alive! Like everyone else, he's addicted to World of Warcraft. He is 19 this year and he is now in uni. Bar. :O

I just learned a new word from watching Lucky Star: "Wiener".

It is a hot dog, from German "Wiener Würstchen", meaning "Viennese sausage". It is also a slang term for penis.

LOL.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener

We're all rushing for Teachers' Day

Every thing's in a rush as Teachers' Day is going to be on this Friday. Hugh's group has not finished up their invitation cards. Betty's group has not finished up their gifts for the teachers. My group also has not finished up our badges for the teachers. The deadline which Nanni have gave us was, the latest, this Wednesday. I wonder whether I can finish up everything before then. I might have to stay back till night time to rush everything.

By the way, I have badminton tomorrow (or rather today, it's pass midnight). Remember to bring racquet tomorrow!

For now it would be like this: There'll be four MCs, all four are females, three are S2 students while another one is an S3 student. I had originally planned to have 2 Chinese and 2 English MCs but some senior 3 prefects have given me this advice, that since there would be some Hong Kong students coming to watch the performance as well, we have to show them our specialty, and that is we can speak 3 different languages, so here's how it has been planned: 2 English, 1 Chinese and 1 Malay.

There'll be 2 student representative to give a speech. Originally we have planned to have 3 representatives BUT Ms. Mary Liau told us last Saturday that only 2 are needed. Now what am I going to say to them... I'll have to kick one of them. :\ Oh and by the way, all three student representatives are males. XP

Teachers' Day is just around the corner. Our next rehearsal would be on this coming Thursday, but that freaking Mr. Lai had decided last minute that he wanted to have his Ad. Maths test on Thursday as well. Tell him to go die lah. Well, since both S2Zhong and S2Xiao had managed to be chosen to perform on Teachers' Day, Mr. Lai may give way this time for the rehearsal if we ask, who knows...? He has been really kind, I mean, less fierce recently, due to his health problems, I guess. What can you expect from a used-to-be chain smoker and drinker?

Look @ my Mood

What the title said.

I hate the prefects, especially my members. Everyone seems to think of themselves only. Even the passing of my Program Proper info, only two out of my sixteen members had received it and it had been returned to me. Everyone else seems to be either in tuition, away, eating dinner, or where ever I don't know. I suspect that some even deliberately refused to pick up the call. This is stupid and I'm getting really really mad.

Tomorrow's our Teachers' Day rehearsal. I wanted Joanne (Soh), the prefect in-charged of the entertainments, to include everything including the testing of the opening song just like in the schedule and the testing of the speakers, but like an empress, she refused, saying that there's not enough time. It was very hard to cooperate with her, I'd say. Sitting next to me in class is nothing if I can't communicate with her. Even talking to somebody thousands of miles away using email is a few thousand times easier. She has this really rude attitude which I really hate. Citing an example, this morning she told me that Chee Ying Yih would be unable to attend the rehearsal, and so I asked her, did she asked Joanne (Yong) as well. She replied me rudely, "why should I ask her?" Well, since you know that Chee's not coming, then I was wondering whether you'd know about Joanne (Yong) as well. If you don't, just say no and that'll suffice. You don't have to be rude and ignorant, you know.

I don't know what to do with my members.

You know what, for the first time ever, our school bus was stranded on the road - the traffic was not flowing at all. It happened outside a Petronas petrol station just now. You must have guessed it, and yes, everyone's lining up to buy fuel. Some rumor that another fuel price hike's going to happen must have been spread and everyone's fighting to buy cheap fuel.

The government's going to collapse, I tell you. I dare you Mr. Badawi, call for a fresh election and get a fresh mandate from the people.

And the internet is really slow today. :(

Election Campaign

We, the prefects, just had our council elections campaign yesterday. I had ran for Secretary and Welfare leader and the talk I gave campaigning for myself yesterday went quite smoothly. No one besides the current Secretary and Welfare leader had posed questions which I had answered very frankly. I don't know whether I managed to pass on my agenda to the other prefects, but I know I have did my best. I had promised that I will finish up and distribute meeting minutes, prefect handbooks and info-lists punctually, if I were to be elected Secretary. Now that I look back at it, I don't think I stand a good chance at all, with a few of the contenders such as Hui Tze and Y3 who offered themselves even though it is clear that they are the best contenders for female head prefect and female assistant prefect head respectively! However, I think I have a special advantage gender-wise - I am the only male contesting for the post of Secretary. Yup. That's the fairer gender's job and yet I'm onto it. Ahaha. =\

Yesterday in computer class, I found out there's someone else who is a blogger who blogs actively in my class! Tzee! Sounds so much like Zing, lol. Her writings are definitely good and humorous, although I hate the pop-up advertisements when I were to visit the blog. She uses Blogger and I have nothing against Blogger, honestly. *crosses fingers* The things that she would talk about are fix onto a particular theme, and that is her thoughts and her activities. It is quite fun to read them, actually, especially the David Wong bashing part. David Wong our computer teacher deserves to be bashed up because he is definitely the worst teacher teaching computer I had had since primary school.

I can't think of a way to finish up the 1500-2000 words essay Ms. Angela, my English teacher had given to me for an essay competition by this Perdana Foundation. She had given me the assignment before the school holidays and I don't know how am I actually going to finish it. It is very hard to me, particularly, do describe what 'leadership' means to me in at least 1000 words. Ahh, I shouldn't have taken up this assignment. =\

"Hey, Kunikida,"

I called my other partner, who had just returned from the bathroom,

"Tell Taniguchi everything you know about sodium hydroxides. He especially wants to know whether they're on good terms with hydrochloric acids."

"Well that's simple, they get neutralized after being mixed together,"

Kunikida said as he flicked through Taniguchi's textbook,

"Ah, so it's this question. First calculate in moles and you'll be able to convert it to kilograms. Let me think..."

Seeing a knowledgeable person explaining so casually, one feels extremely helpless.

- Suzumiya Haruhi, Volume 4, Chapter 3
