I hate Fridays

I seriously think that I have a really, really bad memory. I can't seem to remember whatever that had happened earlier today.

For most co-curricular activity societies (CCA) (including the Library Club), they had had their first meeting of the year today. I noticed that I wasn't listed in the member list of the Library Club which was stapled on the CCA notice board next to the Teachers' Office. Therefore, or should I say unforturnately therefore, I was excluded for the Library meeting. Again, I am a member of the Prefect Board. It wasn't really surprising, although I was indeed expecting to be called to the Library meeting, and if I really was, I had to apply for a leave with the Prefect Board. I don't mind actually, since it was the first meeting of the year, after all. Then again, it wasn't the first time we Prefects had had our Friday meeting since we already had ours weeks ago when the school reopened in January. Furthurmore, since it was raining cats and dogs earlier during the period of the CCA, the drill for us Prefects were cancelled and another activity were arranged for us. It was some childish game as I would describe it, and in the end, our group (Detention Group) lost all four special seats to the opposing group (Welfare Group) due to the fact that we didn't have any strategy. We were leading at the start of the game with 3 vs 1 but slowly, Welfare dominate the chairs next to the special chairs and by the end of the game, snatched all chairs.

'Shall I compare Thou with a summer's day?'

Desmond, the chairman of the next Senior 1 meeting/gather, decided to change the date of the meeting from the coming Thursday's after school to the coming Tuesday's after school, two days earlier, because our fecking Add. Maths teacher Mr. Lai wanted to have a test on Thursday, after school. Why always a short-notice? We might even have to reschedule our Prefects' annual 3S gather, again, because Mr. Lai wanted to have an extra class on the Saturday we plan to have the gather. Why does Mr. Lai always have to spoil everything?! Being the head of the Disipline Board (in other words, the head advisor to the Prefects), he should be more flexible. But I guess no one dares to go flexible on him. You know, our kaypoh Biology teacher told us that Mr. Lai does have someone he likes, but he isn't daring to express his feelings, and that is why until now, he's not married yet! If Mr. Lai were to retire soon, he'd be a very sad man for not having a life partner. He sacrificed himself, his love life, his personal life for Tshung Tsin, ohnoes! I don't know whether he's a gay or not but you see lah, that guy eats breakfast alone, skips lunch, and eats dinner with Mr. Wong (which Mr. Wong I dunno, but I'm betting on the school's Maths Department Head, Mr. Wong Say Wai). lol.

The rain decided not to go away even till now, it is still raining. It makes the night cold. Who~

It seems that I have underestimate the Prefect Board. We have a ZOMGIAMAGAY male Head Prefect, and a female Head Prefect scarier/fiercer than a tigeress looking after her cubs. The other day I went for the Prefects' Counselling and guess what? The two Heads decided to be a kaypoh and stick their heads (pun not intended) onto my private businesses, and I believe other S1 prefects got the same fate as well. The Heads had asked me silly questions and I answered all of them...um... semi-honestly, lah. Who cares? Earlier just now, the male Head Prefect announced our plans for the coming weeks and months. Plans including visits to the Bird Sanctuary Park, RTM TV Station, Kian Kok Prefect Board + KK High School Prefect Board and then Tenom Tshung Tsin Prefect Board, et cetera. The list goes on and it seems that we're never going to have an end to these visits/trips. He also specifically told us to bring our cameras if possible to take down photos as remembrance. lol.

I think I'm going to be an owl tonight. Lots and lots of things to do.

Spot-checks.

Just now in school, I had my first spot-check as a prefect. Other prefects (Senior 2 prefects, lol) happened to be a little scared but I felt nothing at all. Maybe it's my first time. Others had their training during the orientation camp which I was absent.

Well, we only spot-checked one class, J2He, because some silly fellow had filled a complain about someone from the class bringing handphone to school. Why the hell did the Education Ministry banned handphones from school?! This is no longer the 1980s! This is already the twenty-first century!

We took more than a period to finish the spot-check. In the end, we found no handphone but only some posters of singers, song lyrics, a handphone charger (SRSLY!) and other ki-ling-ka-lang accessories. (Read: but still no handphone!)

=\

I don't know what wind blew but the rumours about the spot-checks were flying around. lol.

It's a good experience nevertheless.

Honestly, I prefer serving the school instead of punishing the school. =\

*********

I had another chemistry test earlier. Supposedly it should be an easy one, but somewhat, I was totally off guard... I didn't even have the time to do some final revision. =\

My father's in KL so I have all the time I want on the computer. I plan to do something useful other than just going around surfing blogs and websites. =\
