Ignoring the title of this update, let me say something... amusing.
After looking at this, http://kurot.livejournal.com/12752.h tml, somehow, I started to have liking to those Digimon pairings which seemed to never going to happen, such as Yamato x Hikari, and I even got high after looking at a few other pairing arts, including the Masaru x Yoshino and Tohma x Yoshino.. lol! @_@;
Earlier before entering the hall for our school's weekly assembly, I went to the library and borrowed a thick book, which is the directory of our country's member of parliament for the term 2004-2009. It's a bit outdated in the minister part though, as Leo Michael Toyad is no longer our Minister of Tourism.
During the assembly, the mainly-using-chinese-and-refuse-to-trans late-what-he-had-said-into-English principal announced that next year's sport houses would be based on this year's class, and this means that we, Junior 3 students, who is going to be re-arranged into Science or Art Stream classes when going into Senior one next year, are going to be in classes having mixed houses for the first time in school history. And also, the cross country race for the year 2007 were cancelled, because of the renovation works being done in Jalan Damai, taking in the consideration of the safety of students of the school.
In our class meeting held after the school assembly, we were supposed to elect a few class representative to the sport house we were representating next year, Green House (the Green House captains didn't announce our class being included in the house, oh bless them!). Of course, although I have no idea why, Chin Yeh Bing won the Male Captain post unopposed, while Leong Kai Wen won the Female Captain post for being active in sports, volleyball mainly. The Male Dancing leader post was won by Andrew Lim, while the Female Dancing leader post went to Vivian Wong, who had no experience or history in dancing at all, although a member of the Dancing Club in school.. Male and Female Marching Head are Jason Yong and Chai Liche respectively. The treasurer post landed on Jackson Chong, who is famous for corruption. Damn it, I should have opposed his nominations, but he won by autocrasy, as all of the votes of those who didn't voted at all automatically went to him. You can see something like this:
Candidate A: 1 vote
Candidate B: 1 vote
Candidate C: 42 votes
I was very unhappy. In my opinion, those fellow people who are able to become a nominee should be proposed by one person, and at least seconded by another person, which means that if a person are even eligible to contest as a nominee, that fellow should have at least 2 votes. =\
Ah, I'll stop now.
